Pastor Gregory Williams, Sr.

Rev. Gregory Williams Sr. is a native of St. Louis Missouri and a graduate of Central High School.  After graduating high school, he joined The United States Air Force where he served nearly 14 year when the Lord called him from Ezekiel 33:7 to prepare for fill-time ministry.  After separating from the Military, he attend St. Paul Bible College with a double major of Bible Theology/Pastoral Ministry and Secondary Education/Social Science.  With the completion of Bible College, Rev. Williams moved to Omaha, NE with his family to start a Para-church, Holistic, community ministry called COMPASS MINISTRIES, INC.  After five years, and the successful development of COMPASS, Rev. Williams was asked by the Senior Pastor of Salem Baptist Church to become the first Executive Pastor, of the largest African American church in the state of Nebraska.  In 1999, Rev. Williams accepted a position of Senior Pastor of Neighborhood Bible Fellowship Church in Florida.  After seven years in Florida and the death of his son, Rev. Williams and his wife, moved back to Omaha, NE to be closer to their daughter.  While in Omaha, he entered a 24 month Master’s Degree Program in Christian Counseling with a concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy.  Rev. Williams completed his Masters in eleven months, graduating with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Faith Christian University in Orlando Florida.  At present Rev. Williams is pursuing a Doctor In Theology (TH.D.) degree.  Rev. Williams has a love and passion for ministry and helping people.  His takes his life verse from Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me”.   Rev. Williams has been married to his high school sweet heart, Ernestine L Hill for 42 years.  Rev. and Mrs. Williams were blessed with a daughter, Cassandra Lynn Yates, and a son, Greg, Jr. (deceased).
